Full Job DescriptionData Analytics Project Manager Position OverviewThe Data Analytics Project Manager is responsible for leading and managing projects from initiation to completion, ensuring alignment with organizational goals. This role requires a skilled individual to handle project planning, resource allocation, scheduling, and stakeholder engagement while adhering to budget constraints and timelines. This is a 8-month, 40 hours per week contract role.Key ResponsibilitiesManage the overall project lifecycle for the development of Power BI divisional use cases.Collaborate with use case owners to gather and document requirements, ensuring alignment with business objectives.Coordinate with IT teams and divisional teams to ensure that Power BI use cases are developed and delivered on time.Facilitate regular project meetings to monitor progress, address issues, and ensure effective communication between all stakeholders.Develop and maintain detailed project plans, timelines, and status reports.Track and report on project milestones, deliverables, and key performance indicators.Identify and resolve project risks, issues, and blockers in a timely manner.Ensure that project documentation is complete, accurate, and up to date.Act as the primary point of contact for project-related questions and issues.Foster a collaborative and results-oriented project environment.QualificationsProven experience as a Project Manager, preferably in data analytics or business intelligence projects.Strong understanding of Power BI and data visualization concepts.Experience with agile methodologies and tools, such as Scrum and Kanban.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.Experience with project management tools and techniques, such as Gantt charts, project plans, and progress tracking.Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Technology, Project Management, or a related field.Experience working in a cross-divisional environment.Certification in project management, such as PMP or PRINCE2.In this position, you may have access to client or customer systems, confidential and/or proprietary information or data.
