Key Responsibilities:
Employee Relations:
+ Serve as the first point of contact for employee inquiries and concerns, providing guidance on HR policies and procedures.
+ Address employee relations issues, conducting investigations as necessary, and ensuring compliance with labor laws and organizational policies.
+ Foster a positive workplace culture by promoting employee engagement initiatives.
Talent Acquisition and Onboarding:
+ Collaborate with hiring managers to identify staffing needs, draft job descriptions, and conduct recruitment activities.
+ Oversee the recruitment process, including job postings, application reviews, scheduling interviews, and extending job offers.
+ Facilitate new hire onboarding, ensuring a seamless transition into the organization.
Benefits Administration:
+ Assist employees with benefit enrollment, changes, and understanding available programs.
+ Serve as a liaison with benefits providers to resolve employee issues.
+ Support the open enrollment process and ensure compliance with benefits-related regulations.
HR Compliance & Reporting:
+ Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
+ Prepare and maintain employment records in an accurate and timely manner.
+ Generate HR reports and metrics as requested by leadership.
Performance Management & Training:
+ Support the implementation of performance review processes, providing coaching to managers and employees as needed.
+ Identify training needs and coordinate learning and development initiatives.
Requirements
Qualifications:
Education and Experience:
+ Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
+ 3+ years of relevant HR experience, with exposure to various HR functions or an HR generalist role.
Skills and Competencies:
+ Strong understanding of HR principles, best practices, and employment laws.
+ Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build effective relationships.
+ High levels of confidentiality, integrity, and attention to detail.
+ Proficiency in HRIS and Microsoft Office Suite is preferred.
+ Proven organizational and time management abilities.
Certifications (Preferred, but not required):
+ PHR (Professional in Human Resources) or SHRM-CP (Society for Human Resource Management Certified Professional).
