COMPENSATION:
- $185,000 to $235,000 Base Salary
- $15,000 Annual Bonus Minimum

This private practice is physician-owned and has been providing the highest quality of healthcare services to patients in New Jersey and New York for more than 20 years. They are dedicated to delivering exceptional patient care in their own clinic, as well as in collaboration with their rehabilitation hospital partners.
POSITION DESCRIPTION:
The new physician will be employed by a private, physician-owned practice and will provide services at a 100-bed rehabilitation hospital where the practice has been providing primary care services for more than 20 years.
Each shift is approximately 75% front line patient care and 25% administrative duties, such as consulting with nurse practitioners, reviewing charts, participating in acute care transfer meetings, etc.
Specific duties of the role include, but are not limited to:
- provide medical consultation services and support to admitted patients
- perform admission consultations
- provide leadership to the medical consultation team, including chart reviews
- provide routine medical management
- attend to urgent issues during hours on-site
- attend weekly acute care transfer meetings
- collaborate with other providers, including a weekly meeting with the physician-owner
- act as a liaison between hospital staff and practice leadership
The physician will see an average of 18 patients per day with the support of a clinical assistant.
The practice is contracted to provide daily physician support Monday to Friday between the hours of 7:00am to 3:00pm. The practice is open to working with the new physician on an exact full-time or part-time schedule, with the stipulation that some level of presence is required every weekday.
The physician will also conduct weekend rounds once per month. This is typically done in one 4-hour shift (morning or afternoon) and the hours are negotiable.
REQUIREMENTS:
- New Jersey medical license
- DEA
- Board Certification, Internal Medicine or Family Practice
- no previous experience necessary
