Job Description

In need of a live-in for a Male client in the Travelers Rest area. You will need to be able to assist with transfers, meal prep, med reminders, light house keeping, transportation and personal care. Must be able to work around a dog. Griswold Home Care of Greenville and Spartanburg is hiring Live-in Caregivers. As a Live-in Caregiver you can work a minimum of 4 days (no less) and up to 7 days or more. A live-in caregiver receives room and board plus a daily rate of pay. There are other qualifiers that a client must meet for them to qualify for Live-in care. These qualifiers have been established by the Department of Labor. As a Live-in Caregiver, you will provide vital support to seniors who need assistance in various areas (ADL’s: Activities of Daily Living and IADL’s: Instrumental Activities of Daily Living), including:

• Transportation: Helping clients with errands, shopping, medical appointments, and lunch outings.
• Meal Preparation: Preparing nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs.
• Companionship: Engaging in meaningful conversations and activities to enhance emotional well-being.
• Light Housekeeping: Assisting with household chores to keep living spaces comfortably.
• Personal Care Needs: Supporting clients with ambulation, bathing, toileting, and other personal care activities.
• Medication Reminders: Ensuring our clients take their medications on time and as prescribed.
