Overview:
Kaeppel Consulting is seeking a skilled Project Manager with strong experience in water and wastewater infrastructure to support public-sector capital improvement initiatives. This onsite position in Austin, TX focuses on overseeing the design and construction of essential utility projects in a dynamic, public-sector setting

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and coordinate water and wastewater infrastructure projects from planning through construction completion.
• Track scope, schedule, and budget to ensure alignment with project goals and public safety standards.
• Collaborate with consultants, contractors, utility entities, and various departments to ensure project success.
• Prepare project documentation, technical reports, and status updates for leadership and stakeholders.
• Conduct field visits, attend project meetings, and participate in inspections and public engagement activities.
• Report directly to a designated Project Management Supervisor.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
• At least 5 years of project management experience in water and wastewater systems.
• Familiarity with public utility standards, permitting, and compliance regulations.
• PMP certification preferred.
• Strong communication and organizational skills with the ability to coordinate across multiple disciplines.
