JOB TITLE: RS Aircraft Cabinet Maker II

Summary:
Fabricate furniture and wood-surfaced subassemblies using blueprints, aircraft specs, and engineering drawings
Assemble, pin, and glue cabinet shells; install hardware such as drawer slides, hinges, and latches
Apply exterior surface materials like laminates, veneers, and cap strips
Operate stationary and handheld power tools for fabrication and disassembly
Follow safety, 5S, and housekeeping policies; use PPE to protect aircraft interiors
Use material tracking systems to create part demands, track squawks, and sign off on work
Collaborate with leads and senior technicians on process improvements to enhance safety, reduce cost, cycle time, and man-hours using Lean Six Sigma and other techniques
Perform other assigned tasks
Requirements:
High School Diploma or GED required
Minimum 2 years of cabinetmaking experience
Working knowledge of inspection and process specifications preferred
Aerospace industry experience preferred
Proficient in reading, writing, speaking, and understanding English
Able to climb ladders/stairs, work in confined spaces, lift up to 40 pounds, and work any shift
Computer literate
Basic knowledge of cabinetmaking processes, products, and tools
Must be a U.S. Citizen (as defined by ITAR).
