Job Title: Sales Engineer – Pharma Tech Solutions
Location: Remote (U.S.)
Travel: Up to 75% domestic travel (East & West Coast)
Employment Type: Full-time

Salary: 125-150K base Plus Commission

About the Role We are seeking a  Sales Engineer with a strong background in pharmaceutical software and GxP environments to support a growing team. The ideal candidate will serve as a trusted technical advisor throughout the sales cycle, articulating the value of complex software solutions to life sciences customers. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, client-facing setting and understands the intersection of compliance, operations, and digital transformation in pharma.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as the primary technical resource for prospective customers during the sales process
  • Partner with the sales team to understand client requirements and provide tailored product demonstrations
  • Translate complex technical concepts into clear business value propositions
  • Gather and relay customer feedback to internal product and engineering teams
  • Stay up-to-date on regulatory trends (GxP, FDA guidelines, data integrity) and industry best practices
  • Travel up to 75% domestically to client sites, trade shows, and industry events


Must-Have Qualifications

  • Bachelor Degree in   Life Sciences, Engineering, Business, or a related field. Advanced degree or industry certifications (e.g., in GMP, software sales) are a plus.
  • Minimum 6 years of experience in pharmaceutical software sales, technical sales, or pharmaceutical tech consulting
  • Deep understanding of  GxP compliance , data integrity, and validation requirements in regulated environments
  • Experience working with enterprise pharmaceutical or biotech companies
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to simplify complex topics for diverse stakeholders
  • Comfortable leading product demos, POCs, and technical discussions
  • Ability to work independently in a  remote-first environment
  • Willingness and flexibility to travel extensively (East and West Coast focus)


Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior experience as a Sales Engineer or Solutions Consultant in life sciences
  • Knowledge of manufacturing or lab information systems (e.g., LIMS, MES, SCADA)
  • Background in IT/OT integration or digital transformation in pharma
