Responsibilities:
- Provide business, technical, and personnel management to technical and administrative teams.
- Oversee the day-to-day management of task orders and groups of related task orders.
- Conceive, plan, and execute diverse projects, defining problems and developing cost-effective solutions.
- Schedule and assign work to subordinates and subcontractors, monitoring progress and resolving discrepancies.
- Ensure technical solutions and project schedules are delivered within estimated timeframes.
- Report project status, issues, and outcomes to contractor management and government representatives (orally and in writing).
- Serve as the contractor's authorized interface with government officials (including Contracting Officers).
- Negotiate and make binding decisions on behalf of the contractor as needed.
Required Skills & Certifications:
- Proven experience in program/project management.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to negotiate and make critical decisions.
- Understanding of government contracting procedures.
Preferred Skills & Certifications:
- Specific industry certifications (e.g., PMP).
- Experience in a relevant technical field.
- Experience managing large-scale projects.
